We recently hosted Barbara VanderMolen, author of the two volume set Discovering Michigan County by County http://discovermichigancountybycounty.com/.  She gave an informative and fun, fact-filled talk about our beautiful Great Lakes state.  It’s a great program for history buffs and people who like to travel.
