It's time to celebrate Native American Heritage Month 2016, and First Nations Development Institute has a great new educational resource this year: http://www.firstnations.org/HeritageMonth2016.

The five books are for young ones in Head Start and preschool, to elementary and middle schoolers; for high school students there is even a Native comic book.  There are discussion guides for the books, plus they offer "Ten Ways to Make A Difference" for Native American Heritage Month.

Good afternoon!

First Nations Development Institute launched its #NativeReads campaign today. It includes five book lists. Take a look. Hope it is helpful to those of you who are getting ready for Native American Month, coming up!

Please share the link with your networks, and teachers!
