I'm in charge of creating an adult volunteer/ambassador program (other than the Friends) for our library and was wondering if any of you could share how your program is structured.


  1. How many do you have & what's your limit?
  2. How many hours do they normally work in a week?
  3. Do you provide perks? What kind?
  4. What are your requirements?
  5. What tasks can/do they help with within the library?
  6. Have you experienced a high turnover of volunteers?
  7. Have you increased your programming on account of having volunteers?
