Hello,

I've been searching through the archive to try and find any previous threads that cover this subject, and located a few that touch on it, but I'm hoping folks might have some guidance for my library regarding non-cash payments.

Initially, I was hoping to set up a Venmo, PayPal, or Cashapp account for the library, but it's been difficult to locate any helpful information regarding the process, and I've had no success talking to a customer service rep to ascertain which sort of account we would be eligible for.

I did see a previous thread regarding credit card payments where a few libraries endorsed Square. If you have any experience with this, or using online pay forums such as Venmo at your library, what has your experience been like? A previous thread mentioned a 3.6% fee for credit card transactions using Square (their site currently has a 2.6% rate plus a .10 cent fee). I'm curious if anyone has any feedback on this, or might be aware of any advantageous situations that institutions such as ours might be able to employ.

Thank you!
