The Youth Employment Standards Act (YESA) affects the hiring of employees under the age of 18. The new amendments affect how work permits are to be issued, as well as the hours an employee
(or volunteer) under the age of 16 can work. This session will review the changes and provide information to help libraries comply with the changes.
