At Commerce we use file dividers like these for the picture books:

And then slotted shelving (the kind we use for DVDs) for the chapter books that are too big for the dividers:

We started doing this a while ago, and haven't run into any issues!

We have been ordering more lately and since they are larger in the back they do not sit nicely on the shelves. I have tried adding extra book ends in between smaller sections but still find them sliding out or falling over when patrons browse. My best thought so far is to get a bunch of open front magazine holders to at least add more stability to them, but would love to hear your thoughts!
