Is your library accurately represented on the Michigan Broadband map?
Why should I care?
One of the goals of the Michigan High Speed Internet Office (MIHI) is to make it possible for every community anchor institution in Michigan to have symmetrical gigabit speed Internet. And they have $1.6B to work with!
Great! Show me the money! MIHI is working through the steps to obtain and allocate an historic investment in Internet infrastructure in Michigan. And its at a
crucial stage. They have a map. It has flaws. And there is a window open until April 23rd to gather corrections that will maximize investment in your community.
Learn more about the MIHI BEAD map challenge
on their website. There are recorded webinars and slides and documentation.
And attend a real-time work session sponsored by Merit Network next Tuesday April 9 1-2pm (info and link below)
