The Library of Michigan is hosting a one-day millage workshop on Tuesday, March 3 in Lansing. This full day workshop provides information and details for libraries considering or planning for a millage.

Presenters will focus on millage law and ballot requirements as well as other considerations for libraries and their communities. The workshop includes: strategies for successful millage campaigns; timeline, budgets & fundraising; marketing tips and strategies; the roles of administration, staff, trustees, friends and volunteers; and a discussion of marketing and branding for success.

Library directors, staff, trustees and friends are all welcome to attend. Morning and afternoon refreshments and a lunch taco bar with vegetarian, vegan and gluten free choices will be provided for attendees.

The cost is $45 per person and the event will run 9:30 am to 4:00 pm at the Library of Michigan.
