Good Morning, I wanted to provide you with a "status report" as regards the below the --- email, which was sent September 30. People tell me that folks in the state to the south that shall remain nameless, particularly on Saturdays in the Fall, use the phrase "Holy Toledo" to express surprise when something turns out better (or at least, differently) than they expected. I can't use "Holy Toledo" here, as these are family friendly listservs :) But if I could, I probably would, as the response from libraries has been nothing short of incredible. We expected a fair number of requests from libraries for our MAP postcards. But we did not expect to receive requests from over 200 libraries! This is great! It tells us there is an overwhelming level of support from and commitment to, MAP in libraries. So, three things: 1. I have not sent individual replies, except in a couple of specific cases, to libraries that submitted requests for MAP postcards. We do have your requests, though :) 2. It will take us a bit of time to sort and ship 20,000+ MAP postcards to libraries. We will get it done. But it will take a bit of time. 3. We are still taking requests for MAP postcards, if your library is not one of the 200+ that have already sent a request. Keep 'em coming!
