We just installed a white noise system at the Pere Marquette District Library last August. I love it. We used SPACE Inc out of Midland. They did an awesome job.

We purchased two of these (see attached photos). They work quite well for our echoey library! I'd recommend they be on the ground so people don't mess with them, and between the area where the noisiness is and where it is found most irritating. The last library I worked at purchased a system from Muzak in Novi, but they appear to have gone out of business.

The library I work at now is filled with echo chambers, where you can hear people talking across the room and even through the walls!
