I've been hosting a mindfulness meditation group the Peter White Public Library in Marquette since 2016. We've been on Zoom since March 2020 and even have several participants from downstate as well as other states now. I would highly recommend checking out this webinar posted by SirsiDynix a few years ago by a librarian in a rural part of Wisconsin: SirsiDynix | How to Implement Meditation and Mindfulness Programming in Your Library<https://go.sirsidynix.com/How-to-Implement-Meditation-and-Mindfulness-Programming-in-Your-Library.html?msclkid=5348d33dcfb311ecab213720ca883eba> Thanks, Jeremy Jeremy Morelock Database Maintenance and System Admin Assistant Superiorland Library Cooperative (906) 226-4675 Ext. 5 [cid:e60b5243-af9c-493b-bf6e-ce357d794c94] ________________________________ From: Michlib-l <michlib-l-bounces@mcls.org> on behalf of Nannette Pretzer via Michlib-l <michlib-l@mcls.org> Sent: Monday, May 9, 2022 10:18 AM To: michlib-l@mail.mcls.org <michlib-l@mail.mcls.org> Subject: [Michlib-l] Meditation classes Hello great minds! The St. Charles District Library is thinking about hosting meditation classes by donation. Has anyone hosted mediation at their library? And if so, what should I be aware of, is there anything I should be concerned with in hosting such a class? Any and all feedback would be great! Thank you.
