What does it mean to be a Michigander?

The diversity of our state presents countless ways that question could be answered by people of Michigan. PBS American Portrait is a nation-wide initiative to collect stories from all over the country to create a portrait of what it really means to be American today. WKAR in Lansing (operated by Michigan State University) is gathering stories to showcase Michigan’s part of the portrait. You can find more information about the program through the attached PDF and by going to https://tv.wkar.org/americanportrait/. You can also find content to share about from WKAR’s Facebook and Twitter accounts:

Narratives often go beyond the books on our shelves. Help share the story of our state and what it means to be a Michigander.

Thanks!

Adam
