Troy Public Library and Troy Community Center Closed through April 5
On March 10, Governor Gretchen Whitmer, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) and the
Oakland County Health Division and Wayne County Health Department announced that two Michigan residents tested presumptive positive for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID‐19).
On March 12, Governor Whitmer ordered the closure of all K-12 school buildings, public, private, and boarding,
to students starting Monday, March 16 until Sunday, April 5.
Today the City is
announcing the closure of the Troy Community Center at 12 pm and Troy Public Library through Sunday, April 5. The Community Center and Library are currently scheduled to reopen on Monday, April 6.
The City will continue to evaluate programs and services on a case-by-case basis and provide updates as they
become available.
Please keep all library items until we re-open. Overdue fines and fees will be waived during this time. All material return boxes are closed. Please do not leave any material here. Do not return material
to other libraries.
