Self-Care During Stressful Times
Self-care is more than bubble baths and coloring books. Let’s talk about the ethic of care and how it applies to ourselves, what boundary-setting
looks like, as well as some tips and tricks to keep yourself centered and avoiding burnout (and yes, we’ll talk a little about bubble baths and coloring books too).
Speaker
JJ Pionke is the Applied Health Sciences Librarian at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His award-winning research focuses on disability and accessibility in libraries for both patrons and employees. When he is not advocating for disability rights
and inclusion, he’s playing video games, reading, and spending time with his two Maine Coon cats.
