The Oakland University Libraries seek a highly dependable, resourceful part-time librarian to provide exceptional research assistance at our research help desk and through individual research consultations with library users, and to deliver in-person library instruction to first-year students. The successful candidate will also contribute to various library projects as assigned.

Hours: Includes weekday, evening and weekend shifts, approximately 20 hours per week, beginning Sept. 1, 2016.

Qualifications: Required: ALA-accredited MLS or equivalent with a strong commitment to teaching and public service; prior experience providing reference service. Desired: Library instruction experience, preferably in an academic library setting.
