The Library of Michigan is creating a Youth Services Committee (YSAC) and seeking volunteers.  If you are interested in serving please complete the following survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NW8SPGP

 

YSAC Volunteers will be responsible for:

·         Review & feedback on MeL Databases for Youth & Teens 

·         Assess ongoing needs in the areas of youth services (providing ideas such as webinar topics, workshops, etc.)

·         Promote Library of Michigan initiatives, including social media campaigns, to their home libraries.

·         Suggest Michigan Reads! titles

·         Other tasks specific to promoting & serving youth services throughout the state

 

YSAC will meet once-a-quarter, or as needed, and mileage will be reimbursed for participants.

Our first meeting is being planned for early November, date TBD.
