In the last year or two the Indiana State Library gave every library in the state a ukelele to use for programs. They appear to have had great fun with them. I could introduce you to a library director or two there if you want to talk to someone. Connie
Hi everyone,
We are
looking into circulating musical instruments for kids at our library, such as
xylophones, recorders, ukuleles, etc. Have any of you done this at your library?
I would love to know what kinds of children’s instruments you are circulating.
I would also like to know how you maintain and clean the instruments,
especially for instruments that have a mouthpiece like recorders.
I appreciate
any input you have! Please reply off-list.
Thanks,
Sarah
