Hastings Public Library is searching for a new Assistant Director as the current one has promoted to a new position at another library.
The full job description is attached, but some highlights are below. Note that this role currently requires library experience & time leading others, and prefers a degree.
- 40 hours per week.
- $20.00 - $21.85 per hour
- Health benefits and an EAP, plus paid vacation, sick time, & personal hours.
- Lead the collection management process for adult categories and Library of Things.
- Manage statistics tracking, asset management and the volunteer program.
- Participate in the grant process and policy management.
- Directly supervise three staff members.
