My name is Dan Lodge, and I'm one of the librarians at the Dearborn Public Library.
We have several virtual talks coming up this month that I wanted to bring to your attention.
- Calling all Leslie Knope fans! On Tuesday, June 14th at 6:30pm, I will be talking virtually with author and journalist Jennifer Keishin Armstrong regarding her new book Parks and Rec: The Underdog TV Show The Lit'rally Inspired a Better Vision for America
- On Tuesday, June 28th at 6:30pm, I will be talking virtually with Professor Valerie Fridland regarding her new book Why We Talk Funny: The Real Story Behind Our Accents. Is there a mid-Michigan accent?
- On Thursday, June 30th at 6:30pm, I will be talking with Toby Walsh, Professor of Artificial Intelligence at the University of New South Wales in Australia. It will be the morning of May 1st for him when we talk!
All you need to do to reserve a spot for any or all of these talks is to visit the Events Calendar on our Library website
