Great Michigan Read Sponsor with Michigan Humanities
The Library of Michigan is pleased to be a sponsor of the
2023-24 Great Michigan Read, a program facilitated by Michigan Humanities. Great Michigan Read creates a statewide discussion around a Michigan themed book. Through partnerships with libraries, schools, book clubs, and
a wide range of other non-profit organizations, the Great Michigan Read facilitates statewide reading and programs to bridge communities around a common conversation.
The 2023-24 selection is
Firekeeper's Daughter by Angeline
Boulley. In support of this year's program, the Library of Michigan has provided access to the
eBook and eAudiobook of Firekeeper's Daughter through our ReadMichigan.org eBook platform. Visit the

Michigan Genealogical Council Fall Family History Event
The Library of Michigan is joining the Michigan Genealogical Council and the Archives of Michigan in presenting the Fall Family History
Event on November 3-4, 2023. Participants can attend both online and in person.
