The National History Day theme for 2016 is Exploration, Encounter, Exchange in History.
The Library of Michigan welcomes school and team groups for idea exploration and research days. The Library is able to host research groups Monday – Friday from 10 – 5 and Second Saturdays from
10 – 4. Should your library or school group want to partake, please just email us at
librarian@michigan.gov or phone at 517-373-1300 for sign-up and details. We would want to plan the day with groups based on size and unique research training requests. Collections
available include: Michigan, Michigan Documents, Periodicals, Newspapers, Census, Rare Books, Federal Documents, Reference, Maps, Main and the vast brilliant vertical clipping file.
