Well, it’s officially September, which means the 2023 Artwork for “All Together Now” is revealed in the
CSLP Newsletter! (Newsletter is forwarded below this email or follow the link)
I know, I know, you’re still recovering from this summer…
😉 but I hope the art uplifts your spirits today. Meanwhile, don’t forget that the annual CSLP call for volunteers is now, so take the opportunity
to serve & network on a national level:
https://www.cslpreads.org/join-a-cslp-committee/. This past year we had 18 volunteers from Michigan, the highest level of participation for state, other than OHIO (we can’t let them beat us). Thank you to all who have volunteered in the past, I hope you
continue to participate going forward.
The Collaborative Summer Library Program staff, state reps, and committee chairs actually met in Detroit this week. Among many discussions and strategic planning, there was voting for the 2025 Slogan and 2026
theme: (Drum roll, please)
Take time to catch your breath this month, we’ll have lots of supports for 2023’s summer program planning coming your way later in the Fall and this winter.
All the best,
Cathy Lancaster
