If you have never hosted Valerie Marvin, Capitol Historian from the Michigan State Capitol, I highly recommend her. We have hosted her twice through Zoom at LTPL, on the "Women in the Capitol" and just this evening on the Capitol Architect, E. E. Meyers. Her presentations are full of detail, passion, and humor. She's incredibly friendly and engaging, and best of all, was free! She asks how long you'd like her to present, encourages questions, and I'm hoping to host her again in the future.
