Registration for the 2015-16 Great Michigan Read is now open. The Michigan Humanities Council invites you to join the statewide discussion of
Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel. Station Eleven is set in a world turned upside down, but is ultimately an exploration of people surviving and remaking their lives by preserving the qualities that make us human: culture, art, and the humanities.
The Great Michigan Read will run from August 2015 through May of 2016 with Emily St. John Mandel making four separate tours throughout Michigan. As always, libraries, schools,
and nonprofits are eligible for free reader’s guides, teacher’s guides, bookmarks, promotional materials, and up to 30 copies of
