[Michlib-l] scanning large items?

Hello all, Does anyone know of a library that has a digital scanner for public use that would be able to scan large items, like a scrapbook? A friend's DAR chapter wants to scan their scrapbooks. She saw an overhead scanner at the State Library in Albany, NY, but she (and the scrapbooks) are in Michigan. Thank you in advance.
