Library Development Analyst

 

Job Description

The position is responsible for developing and implementing data collection and analysis projects, web editing and marketing assistance in support of the Michigan eLibrary(MeL) and Library Development (LD) programs.  The position coordinates data collection, data analysis, survey design, and the communication/presentation of data in a variety of formats to stakeholders. The position also provides support in areas of marketing and graphic design, including working with vendors and stakeholders. The position works as a team member to achieve program goals and objectives.

Duties include:

  1. Coordinate data collection and analyze it to monitor trends, outputs and impacts of the Michigan eLibrary and Library Development programs and make recommendations and decisions based on the data.
  2. Communicate and translate data and analysis of it into meaningful content such as reports, infographics, templates, and presentations for various audiences, in-house staff, teams, vendors, and external communities.
  3. Maintain MeL website (LibGuides) and social media platforms, including planning, design, vendor communications as well as coordination of procurement of marketing and training-related materials used with the library community.
  4. Provide support and other duties as assigned for LD programs, staff and agency.

Required Education and Experience - Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.

Salary - $21.03 - $32.95 Hourly
