At the Canton Public Library, we are exploring possible sustainability efforts. We have joined the Sustainable Libraries Initiative. However, looking through their website and researching elsewhere has made us fully realize just how
many possibilities there are for sustainable action. We are looking to focus our efforts on the most valuable areas. With that in mind, we have these questions.
What was the most important/valued sustainability work you have done at your library? Was this work done internally, or did you involve outside companies or organizations? Do you have a rough idea of how long/how much staff time the
work took?
Have you done anything that didn’t work, or that did not have the value you hoped for?
I will be happy to compile responses if anyone is interested.
