[Michlib-l] Staff bonus' & giving away library books

Does anyone have any insight or possible policy language that would cover how libraries could donate used/discarded materials to other organizations, like a baby pantry? Also, are there any libraries out there that give bonus' to staff? Our board is considering doing something like this, and I am not sure about the legality etc. Any help from the brain-trust is appreciated! -- Cindi L.
