MALA's annual Young Adult workshop is scheduled for November 7, 2016 at the Mid-Continent Public Library's Woodneath Library
Center from 9am-4pm. Expert panelists, discussions, games, and more, all speaking to services for at-risk, LGBTQIA, special needs, and culturally diverse
teens. AGENDA: 9-10am Panel on library services for diverse teens: Panelists will share their expertise on how to identify and target the needs of diverse teens (focusing on culturally diverse, at-risk,
and special needs communities), and how to provide, evaluate, and adapt services to these groups.
