The next FOML Workshop will be held this Fall with the theme "Best Practices: Key Steps to Improving Your Service as a Library Friend” and it's coming up on Thursday, October 4th, 2018 at the Delta Township District Library!
Topics will include:
"Friends of All Ages: Engaging with Youth Through Programming" with Cathy Lancaster, Youth Services Coordinator, Library of Michigan
"Are You Organized – or Not? Key Organizational Principles for Successful Friends Groups" with Clare Membiela, Library Law Consultant, Library of Michigan
"All Pumped Up: Strategies for Fiends’ Public Relations & Possible Fundraising, Too” with Trenton Smiley, Marketing & Communications Director and Scott Duimstra, Executive Director, Capital Area District Libraries Groups
These workshops are a great time to network with other Friends groups and spend a day learning how to support your library!
