The University of Michigan-Dearborn seeks an energetic, innovative, service-oriented and collaborative professional to serve as the Associate Director for Public Services for the Mardigian Library. This position is a member of the senior management team of the library and the ideal candidate will bring substantial academic library knowledge and programming experience to the position.

The Associate Director for Public Services is a senior level management position in the Mardigian Library. This position is responsible for the day-to-day public services operations of the Library, including direct supervision of the department heads responsible for the Library Research Center Department (Research and Instructional services) and User Services Department (Circulation/ILL/Reserves/Shelving). Working with the Director, the Associate Director will assist to establish strategic goals and objectives, determine enterprise-wide activities and collaborations, and prepare administrative reports. The Associate Director assists in the creation and interpretation of library policies and participates in budget decisions.
