The Clarkston Independence District Library is seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and friendly individual to strengthen and promote our ties as a key community resource.
Full-time Collaborations Librarian
Hours: 40 hours per week, includes some weekends and evenings
Salary: $48,000 to $57,000 depending on qualifications and experience

Primary job duties:
Duties include, but are not limited to:

Develop and cultivate relationships for community partners to enhance library services for adult patrons
·
Plan and coordinate outreach activities and homebound deliveries
·
Work with other CIDL staff on collaborative programs
·
Provide quick and accurate reference and readers’ advisory for all ages
·
Assists patrons with computer catalog, electronic resources, and other library resources & equipment
·
Attends and participates in staff meetings and discussions
·
Seeks out continuing education opportunities
·
Develop content to promote library resources and programs in local print publications
·
Assist in the development of departmental policies, goals, and staff training
·
Performs other library duties as assigned
