A husband and wife team who have a teen of their own:) They presented to our school librarian group. Did improv, drawing and a reading from their book. They are hilarious and will keep teens entertained. I plan on booking them for the next school year. They live in Brighton. http://www.totallyunrehearsed.com/MickMorris/MMabout.htm Klaudia Klaudia Janek, MLIS School Librarian IB Extended Essay Coordinator 248 341 5925 http://iamediacenter.blogspot.com/ **************************************************************************** Hi Ken! We have a graphic artist that lives in Saline named Keith McGuire who does programs like that for us regularly. He has a blogsite - rkmcguires.blogspot.com. If you're interested, you could call him at 734-489-4324. Good luck! Leslee ***************************************************************************** Dear Mr. Bignotti, It's probably a long shot, but you can try Mark Crilley (http://markcrilley.com) for your intended comics drawing workshop. For our part, we had hosted him a few years back and he was both entertaining and artistically brilliant. I would recommend him with highest marks, so to speak. mark@markcrilley.com http://www.markcrilley.com/publicappearancesbio.html http://www.facebook.com/markcrilleyOFFICIAL Hope that this helps! Sincerely, Dominic McLaughlin Adult Services Librarian Romeo District Library ***************************************************************************** My husband Everett works at the DIA. I asked him for suggestions. Here is his reply: "I've got an email in to our Studio Manager. You might also try contacting Green Brain Comics, or Detroit Comics” Good luck! She's an author/illustrator based out of Pinckney. Her books are for younger readers, but she did wonderful classes for teens at the Brighton District Library. She's also really reasonably priced. I've also hired Ryan Hipp from Grand Rapids, but he costs more because of his lengthy drive. He was so fun, we brought him back for our staff in-service! Good luck with your program, Anne Cnockaert Youth Services Librarian Brighton District Library Brighton, MI 48116 annec@brightonlibrary.info 810/229-6571, x210 ******************************************************************************** Hello, I am using Abrakadoole Art Studio out of Canton.
