Oak Park Public Library is seeking a full-time youth services librarian that can help us serve an amazing community! Position Summary: Under the general supervision of the Library Director, performs a variety of duties that result in the enrichment of youth and families through the planning and implementation of library youth programs, assisting patrons with readers' advisory, the selection and maintenance of the youth collection (and department), and the building of relationships with relevant community organizations. Pay Range: Salary ranging from $45,427.72 - $51,940.07 depending on experience. Excellent benefits package, paid health insurance, union position. Schedule: This position is scheduled 40 hours per week, with one evening per week and up to one Sunday afternoon per month.
