Be Among the First 100 Libraries to Register and Receive FREE Mattel and NASA Resources!

 

The STAR Library Network (STAR Net), in partnership with American Girl (Mattel), is giving away 3-book sets of the Luciana Vega series and other NASA resources to the first 100 libraries that successfully register their Downlink Event by the end of day on Friday, October 12th. For more information on the giveaways and how to qualify, visit our registration page.

 

On October 18th, the High Plains LIbrary District will be hosting an In-flight Education Downlink from the International Space Station with NASA astronaut Serena Auñón-Chancellor. This 20-minute live event (targeting youth in grades 3-5) will be streamed live nationally by NASA from the Riverside Library and Cultural Center in Evans, Colorado. STAR Net libraries are encourgaged to host their own event by tuning in to NASA TV's Media Channel or the agency's website. Click here on how to watch!

 

The downlink event is currently scheduled for 11:40am-12:00pm MT. Be sure to visit our websiteon October 11 to check for any possible updates to this time range.
