Speaking of panicking, if anyone is feeling anxious, afraid, etc., because of the coronavirus (or any reason), please don't hesitate to speak to someone about it. We're all in this together! In regard to the patron's privacy, it sounds like we will need to wipe down all items. I have a question about the inside of the items though (books, audio books, etc.). Exactly--so everything would need to be cleaned, but the question is how? Is isolation for a time good enough? Is freezing an option? How can items be made safe, without destroying them? Should employees wear protective gear to empty and process returned items?
