The Superior District Library, located in the Eastern Upper Peninsula, is seeking a dynamic, community-minded Library Manager to lead daily operations at the Bayliss Public Library. This full-time (35 hr./week) leadership role is part of the District’s Management Team and oversees staff, programs, and services while fostering an engaging, customer-focused environment. With an amazing staff of twelve, a supportive Board and Administrative Team, and a collaborative team of seven other managers, this library district is focused on service to community balanced with a good work/life balance, and creating a culture of trust, new ideas, lack of micromanagement, and being a place you look forward to working at.

Qualifications -

• Bachelor’s degree required; MLIS preferred
• 4+ years library experience (public library preferred)
• Supervisory experience and strong leadership skills
• Full-time with benefits; flexible schedule including some evenings/weekends
