Do NASA Science LIVE! is back, with mini-grants for participating libraries!

Beginning in November, monthly events will connect library communities with NASA scientists and real NASA citizen science projects, with additional opportunities planned for Citizen Science Month in April.

Any library can register to host an in-person satellite event at their location if they can provide a space, projector, and audience. Libraries can also apply for a $500 mini-grant each month to support event hosting. SciStarter provides resources to help promote and host the event, plus a live Zoom connection where participants can meet a NASA scientist and learn how to get involved in their research.

The registration and mini-grant application form for the November event is now open! For all other events, registration and applications will open October 28. We’ll share more details about the program and how to participate during our October 28 webinar, Plan Now for Citizen Science Month 2027!
