Dark Waters: True Crime & Mystery on the Great Lakes

Christopher Gillcrist
Director Emeritus
National Museum of the Great Lakes

Based on a recent temporary exhibition at the National Museum of the Great Lakes, Gillcrist will share episodes from the Great Lakes’ shadowy past, reveal how moments of darkness helped shape the communities that line these inland seas, and expose the hidden currents beneath our region’s maritime story. Examining these darker chapters leads to a fuller understanding of the people, places, and forces that have shaped the Great Lakes.

7:00 p.m., Monday, March 30
Opperman Auditorium
A reception in the Clarke will follow this event.
