This may be unorthodox, and even a little bit gauche, but since there have been many requests (or accolades) for workshops on this list, I am throwing my hat in the ring for consideration at your libraries as I've already had several directors reach out after my promo email about my upcoming events at KDL posted over the weekend.
My bona fides: As most of you know, I'm a librarian as well as a writer, researcher, and other job titles. I have my MLIS from Wayne State. My side hustle, Nerd Girl Industries, presents workshops and webinars on various topics from research to social media. (As well as services and packages but that may not be applicable for the list.) In addition to upcoming KDL, I've taught my workshops from individuals to large groups both in-person and virtual for various clients and organizations. Accolades are on my landing page of my website.
For in person workshops, I charge mileage (at current standard rate of .76/mile) + hotel (if I need to spend the night) + cost of workshop ($200). I live in Traverse City area so if you are in SE MI and are interested in one my in-person workshops, it can get a bit pricey with the mileage factored in.
If you're open to virtual, that cost is significantly less ($300).
