I should have included the URL for all the statistics, as a number of people have contacted me after being unable to locate it! They are definitely hard to find if you don't know where to look! This is the URL for the spreadsheet with all the 2012-2013 info: http://www.michigan.gov/documents/libraryofmichigan/2013_LM_Michigan_Public_... If you click on "Director's Salary" on that first page, you find the info we were discussing, but there are lots of other tabs along the bottom of the screen that will show other interesting statistics. If you need to find the page where all the 2007-2008 / 2008-2009 / 2009-2010, etc. statistics are kept, go to this link, and scroll down to "*(insert year) Michigan Public Library Survey Statistics"*: http://www.michigan.gov/libraryofmichigan/0,2351,7-160-18668_61707---,00.htm... Hi Sylvia and others,
You probably already know about the Library of Michigan's MI Public Library Statistics, available on the LOM website, but I attached the details for 2012-2013 Report for the Director Salaries for Class 2 Libraries, just in case you haven't seen them.
Happy Holidays, Jocelyn Baldwin, MLIS

I know I’ve asked for this in the past, but time to update – I have a new Township Board!
If Class 2 libraries could share with me their director pay scales – beginning, increases through the years and based on what, and top-out salary, that would be great.
Also just a note if you offer benefits of any kind, including retirement . . .
Happy happy budget time!
