Hello,

The Library of Michigan's Youth Services Advisory Council (YSAC) is made up of public library youth services staff from across Michigan. It is a voluntary position where members are responsible for:

1) Assess ongoing needs in the areas of youth services library staff,

2) Providing ideas, developing, and facilitating professional development opportunities such as the quarterly MiYouth meetings,

3) Other tasks specific to promoting and serving youth services throughout the state.

I am seeking a diverse group of volunteers and I would encourage you to apply to serve. Time commitment is light to moderate, with most of the work/feedback conducted at quarterly meetings (currently virtual) and via email. Terms are for 2 years.

Thank you,

Cathy Lancaster
