I've used Verso, Follet Destiny, Horizon and Apollo. Of the four, Apollo is easily #1. I'm currently with Apollo and I absolute adore it.

It's very affordable, works better and is easier to use than any other ILS I've used. They have a consortia as well, so if you enable it, you can do inter-library loan with other Apollo libraries. The interface is very intuitive and easy to use as well.

Since it's cloud based, if you have a hot-spot (or smartphone), you have your ILS anywhere you go. Customer service is A+, and I've never had a problem reaching out when we've had a blip. It's very easy to catalog books, add patrons, circulation is easy and reports are wonderful and easy to personalize.

It's created for public libraries only and it shows.

Verso is good, but not as good as Apollo.

If anyone is looking at switching ILS, I highly recommend Apollo.

Dear Directors,

Do any libraries use Apollo ILS, is it expensive? How is it working for you? How does in compare to Auto-graphics Verso?
