"Letters about Literature" is supported by the Library of Michigan, the Library of Congress, and the Michigan Reading Association.
Letters about Literature is a competition that asks students to write to the authors of their favorite works about their experiences with the text. There are both State and National Winners
of this competition. Last year, two of the National Winners were from Michigan!
This is a great assignment for teachers who are incorporating independent reading in their classes. Students have a chance to write to the most authentic of audiences!
The deadline is quickly approaching. I appreciate all of your assistance!
