Hello Everyone,

Here are 3 wonderful programs we hosted in 2019:

1. JACKIE & GARY  This was a rip roaring success! Jackie Davidson and Gary Brandt are singer/songwriter/folk fanatics. Their
program is based on "Singing the Good Old Songs" from the 60's and 70's. Their choices are mostly well known, but they expertly
mix in a few long-forgotten and new numbers. Jackie was one of the original New Christie Minstrels and Gary Brandt is a
seasoned balladeer who favors Gordon Lightfoot. Fun was had by all, including their mascot Golden Retriever. They live in Michigan,
and you can contact them via http://www.jackieandgary.com, or garyshadows2@aol.com.

2. Birdwatching vs Birding with Greg Bodker  A wonderful program presented by an avid birder and photographer. Greg's
website has excellent information for you, but Greg is the key to this great program. He has contagious enthusiasm for his
subject, and can advise from simple birdfeeding tips to more advanced identifications, habitats, and migrations. He loves his topic
and is caring about the bird watchers as well. This was a welcome spring time event. Find Greg's photos at www.backyardbirdsandbeyond.com.
or directly at backyardbirdsandbeyond@gmail.com.

3. Storyteller's Night Sky  An amazing look at sky maps make it easier to "see" the actual night sky! Plus lovely lessons on how the stars
were named! Mary Stewart Adams, a global authority, travels far and wide  teaching her humanities based approach to understanding our celestial world, by
combining her extensive knowledge of ancient astrology with contemporary research. Our audience loved it, but it's a great children's event, too. Contact Mary at
www.storytellersnightsky.org.
