There is a Michigan Authors and Illustrators Database: https://libraryofmichigan.state.mi.us/authors/home We think it's going to move platforms soon, but for now it's there and ready to use. The advanced search can search by type of author for different visits :) Klaudia On Thu, Jan 5, 2023 at 1:27 PM Jean Fellows via Michlib-l < michlib-l@mcls.org> wrote:
Hello All: I'm seeking a resource/list etc. of Michigan authors and poets with contact information, so I can invite them to our Author Events to share and promote their books at our library. I can't seem to locate a comprehensive one-- does anyone know if such a thing exists, and if so can you share it with me? Or what other resources you use to locate authors for your library? Thanks!
