The display on our door counter has gone bad and it has lived it's life.
I'd love recommendations of door counters if you have them.
Many thanks!

Hi all,
For those of you who feature local artists, how do you make it work? Do
you have a regular display? Also, do you request that the artists sign a
waiver protecting the library if any artwork should be damaged or
stolen?
Thank you in advance.

Hello from Thunder Bay!
Has anyone had Paul VornHagen for a music program at their library?
Would you recommend him? What did you like, what didn't you like?
Thanks!

Hi All,
I am wondering how many libraries have early literacy computers (AWE or other computers) with literacy/learning games/Tumble Books, etc. on them in their children's area?
East Lansing has for many years had computers, with age appropriate learning games on them and the Internet, in the children's area, however, since our remodel we have AWE computers and iPADs with early childhood literacy resources on them. The computers are now geared to children. We have gotten complaints from a group of parents about the children's computers in the children's area of the library. I am wondering what libraries have computers in their children's areas and if you have received complaints?
Thank you, Kristin

Happy Friday everyone!
I?m interesting in learning what type of statistical information libraries collect at their circulation/reference desks. Do you have daily tallies of reference questions, direction questions, computer questions? What other type of information do you collection? (Phone calls? Item renewals?.. Etc??) Examples would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much !!

Basically we just make a mark every time someone walks in the door, with separate categories for computer use and wifi. A previous library I worked in tracked reference, technology, and directional.
