CADL Marketing Earns National Awards

Four of CADL’s promotional materials won awards during the 2020 PR Xchange Awards Competition which is sponsored by the American Library Association and Library Leadership and Management Association. With approximately 270 entries, the competition was extremely tight.

New Partnership

CADL is partnering with nationally syndicated radio show, DeDe in the Morning and Lansing's newest radio station—Stacks 92.1 FM. Listeners in the Lansing market can tune in or stream the station for great music and to hear “DeDe’s Weekly Download”—a recommended book, movie or album from the morning personality (with help from our selection specialists). Listeners can also click on digital ads on the station’s website that link to a special page created by CADL. (See attached graphics)

This is an in-kind agreement between all the parties involved. DeDe McGuire is one of only a few women nationwide to have her own morning show. She has interviewed world leaders including former President Obama to celebrities such as Jay Z and Beyoncé.

Read Woke Challenge

This fall, CADL members will be challenged to think about other people, places and situations new to them. Created by Cicely Lewis, the Read Woke project is a way of learning about others and treating them with respect and dignity, no matter their religion, race, creed, or color.
