Position:
Support Services Clerk – Part-time
Rate of Pay:
$12.00 per hour
Hours:
Mondays and Thursdays 9 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and alternating weekends.
Reports to:
Support Services Coordinator
Qualifications:
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet and direct library patrons
- Check out, check in and renew library materials
- Register patrons for library cards, renew and replace cards
- Empty book drop, process delivery
- Shelving library materials, and answering telephones
- Assist with opening/closing procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Physical Demands:
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Physical ability to stand for an
extended periods of time, as well as lift, bend, reach, stoop, and push or pull a loaded book cart.
