Good afternoon from Michigan Humanities!
We are excited for
Great Michigan Read
author Curtis Chin to arrive in Michigan next week and hope to see you all at an event.
I’ve attached a poster that highlights the four stops on the April leg of our Great Michigan Read author tour. Curtis will return in May for additional tour events.
Here are the event details and pre-registration information:
Below I’ve included links to the upcoming series of independent community events hosted by GMR partners and/or supported by GMR Action Grant funding.
Please, help us spread the word about this incredible set of free, public events!
The 2025–26 Great Michigan Read is presented by Michigan Humanities and supported by national, statewide and local partners, including the Library of Michigan and
Michigan State University Federal Credit Union.
Please let me know if you have any questions or are interested in becoming a Great Michigan Read partner. We have a limited number of books and materials remaining!
Grant funding for partner programming is still available.
Looking forward to seeing you at a Great Michigan Read event this month,
Katie
